ACC Partnerships in Circular Packaging
In addition to direct investments, the Plastics Division of ACC also invests and/or participates in multiple partnerships dedicated to achieving plastics circularity and ending plastic waste.
Association of Plastics Recyclers – “The Voice of Plastics Recycling,” an international trade association representing the plastics recycling value chain committed to the success of plastics recycling. APR works to enhance quality and increase supply through technical resources, testing programs, design solutions, corporate training, regulatory leadership and education programs. APR publishes a Design Guide for Plastics Recyclability, an extensive resource to help company designers create packaging that is compatible with plastics recycling systems in North America.
Circulate Capital – An investment management firm dedicated to financing innovation, companies, and infrastructure that prevent the flow of plastic waste into the world’s ocean while advancing the circular economy.
Closed Loop Partners – An investment platform that invests in sustainable consumer goods, recycling and the development of the circular economy. Investors include many of the world’s largest consumer goods companies and family offices interested in investments that provide strong financial returns and tangible social impact.
Keep America Beautiful – A leading national nonprofit that inspires and educates people to take action every day to improve and beautify their community environment. Among other initiatives, KAB runs America Recycles Day and partners with the Ad Council on the award-winning “I Want To Be Recycled” public service advertising and awareness campaign.
The Recycling Partnership – A non-profit organization dedicated to expanding access and improving curbside recycling programs across the United States through private-public partnerships.
